The questions people ask before their first Bloom.

Each one opens with a keynote or a fireside chat and ends in small-group roundtables. Six or so people, one question, no slides. Most of the people who come back come back for that table.

The first half belongs to the speaker and the second half to the tables. Each group gets a different question, and at the end every group shares what came up.

People come from some 4,600 companies: big tech, large enterprises, startups, universities and the public sector. Engineers are the largest group, with founders, marketers and researchers beside them. Mixing those worlds is the whole point of the room.

Among those who stated a role, 38% work in engineering, data or AI and 29% in business, strategy or sales. The rest are in research and academia, product and design, investment and law. Founders and C-level make up 16%.

In Seoul, in a different space every time. We never run an event online only. A connection made face to face works differently, and the community is built on that.

We usually run these with whoever offers the space, so the venue changes each time. Sometimes an office, sometimes a cafe booked out for the night. It started in Seoul and has also run in Singapore.

There is no fee. Seats are limited, so from the applications we pick the people a particular evening fits best and send them the details.

Korean, mostly. Sessions with international speakers sometimes run in English. Every recap on this site is published in both.

Sessions with a speaker from overseas come with live translation. Do not worry about the language, just come.

Videos go up on YouTube and photos from the room on Instagram. The write-ups live on the Bloom blog. The events list on this site pulls all of it together, event by event.

What each table talked about gets written up on Discord. That is where you can catch the discussions you missed on the night.
